Dr. Vaibhav M. Dedhia

Dr Vaibhav Dedhia is a senior interventional cardiologist. He specialises in coronary interventions, complex angioplasties, structural heart interventions pacemaker AND ICD implantation. He has He has a keen interest in echocardiography, heart failure, clinical cardiology and teaching fellows in cardiology.Prior to joining Masina hospital he has had a meritorious academic career. He graduated from the prestigious Seth GS Medical College & KEM hospital with seven distinctions during his MBBS. He stood 2nd and 1st in the University of Mumbai and BYL Nair Hospital respectively, in the MD Medicine exam conducted in Jan 2004. He was awarded the ‘Best Young Cardiology Scholar’ award in 2007-2008.He has passed all exams throughout his career at first attempt. He has trained in cardiology with Dr Ashwin Mehta and Dr Sushil Munsi- both pioneers and well known Cardiologists. He has several publications in indexed journals to his credit. He has been the teacher for the DNB (Cardiology) post graduate program at S R Mehta Hospital. He has been invited as a faculty for several national and international conferences. He is an active member of the Cardiological Society of India(CSI) and is currently an executive committee member of Mumbai CSI Chapter and the Seth GS Medical College Alumni Association.
