About Our Department
Patients are referred with symptoms, injuries or known conditions that require a clearer view of internal structures. The radiology team checks the clinical question and selects or performs the appropriate examination, considering preparation, contrast use and radiation safety where relevant. Images are interpreted by a radiologist and reported to the treating clinician, while selected cases proceed to image-guided diagnostic or therapeutic procedures. The department aims to provide accurate, timely information that reduces uncertainty and helps clinical teams choose and monitor the right treatment.
