About Our Department
Patients may present after hand or wrist trauma or with pain, numbness, weakness, stiffness, deformity, arthritis or a congenital condition. Evaluation focuses on function, circulation, sensation and the injured structures, supported by imaging or nerve studies when indicated. Treatment may include splinting and therapy, fracture fixation, tendon or ligament repair, nerve decompression, microsurgery, arthroscopy or reconstruction followed by rehabilitation. The department aims to preserve tissue, regain useful movement and help patients return to personal, work and daily activities with maximum independence.
