Dr. Zaheer Aminmohamed Virani is a highly skilled Consultant Nephrologist with over 20 years of experience in diagnosing and treating kidney-related conditions. Proficient in English, Hindi, and Marathi, Dr. Virani provides expert care to his patients during his clinic hours on Monday and Wednesday from 3 pm to 5 pm, and on Saturday from 5 pm to 6 pm.

Dr. Virani's extensive expertise covers a wide range of nephrology procedures, including managing acute renal failure, chronic kidney disease, dialysis (both hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis), and kidney transplantation. He is also proficient in performing interventional procedures such as central venous hemodialysis access, arterial lines, and permcaths placement, ensuring optimal patient care and treatment outcomes.

Dr. Virani's academic journey includes completing his M.B.B.S. and M.D. in Medicine, as well as a DNB in Nephrology at Lilavati Hospital and Research Centre, Mumbai. He has gained valuable experience through various roles at prestigious institutions, including Bombay Hospital, Jaslok Hospital, and Ambani Hospital Mumbai.

Throughout his career, Dr. Virani has been recognized for his outstanding contributions to the field of nephrology. He received the Burjis Khurshedji 2nd Prize from the Indian Society of Nephrology - West Zone Chapter in 2014, and the 1st Best Poster Award at ISNCON 2017 in Delhi for his presentation on "ABO incompatible living donor kidney transplant in a HIV positive women." Additionally, he was awarded the Dr. Pravina Shah 1st Prize Best Paper Award by the Indian Society of Nephrology - West Zone Chapter in 2018.
