The Blood Bank of Masina Hospital is situated on the ground floor of the Nursing Quarters building. It is licensed by the Food and Drug Administration, a member of the State Blood Transfusion Council and is also a member of the Federation of Blood Banks.
Our aim is to provide affordable and safe blood, with 100% voluntary donations being collected from indoor donations as well as outdoor donation drives. This is to ensure good quality of blood and ensure patient care.
Our department plays a vital role in patient care and we ensure rational use of blood and blood components. A team of well trained FDA approved staff ensures good practices in all aspects of blood transfusion including donor selection procedures, donor bleeding, component preparation, while performing serological procedures for blood group and screening for transfusion transmitted infections.
The blood bank is keen to conduct Blood donation camps for corporates and social groups along with housing Colonies. Please contact our Social worker Mr. Charudatta Vaidya on 9930180666 for your needs.
